Born Priscilla Ann Wagner on May 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Priscilla’s early life was shaped by her family’s military background. Her father, James Wagner, was a U.S. Air Force officer, and the family’s frequent relocations took them to various military bases across the country. It was during one of these moves, at the age of 14, that Priscilla met the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley.

In 1959, while living with her family in Germany, Priscilla was introduced to Elvis, who was stationed there with the U.S. Army. The two quickly formed a close bond, and their relationship blossomed over the course of the next few years. Despite their age difference, Elvis and Priscilla’s connection grew stronger, and in 1967, they were married in a private ceremony
