A teenage footballer in Poland is in a critical condition and fighting for his life in hospital after being involved in a car crash which killed his older sister.

Ksawery Jezewski, 17, who plays for Legia Warsaw, was in a vehicle which veered off the road and collided with a tree, tragically claiming the life of his sibling.

The incident took place in Goslice, near the city of Plock in central Poland.
