Taylor Swift has officially said yes to happily ever after with Travis Kelce.
After nearly a year together, the Grammy-winning singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are engaged, the couple revealed on August 26.
They shared the happy news in a joint announcement, marking the start of their next chapter.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The photos captured Travis on one knee in a dreamy garden filled with pink and white roses. Other images showed the couple sharing a warm embrace and offered a close-up of Taylor’s dazzling diamond ring.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story began in July 2023, when the NFL star attended her Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium and tried—unsuccessfully—to give her a friendship bracelet with his number. Soon after, the two quietly started dating, with Swift later admitting she reached out following his podcast mention.
At her November 2023 concert in Buenos Aires, Kelce was caught off guard when Swift changed the lyrics to “Karma” just for him, a switch she often made whenever he was in the crowd.
As Swift finished her record-breaking Eras Tour in fall 2024, Kelce showed his support by attending her last U.S. stop in Indianapolis that November, while Swift cheered him on at his football games—sometimes alongside both of their parents. Although Kelce couldn’t be at her final show in Vancouver on Dec. 8, he made up for it days later by throwing her an Eras Tour-themed party, complete with friendship bracelets and a custom ’22’ hat.
The relationship also became a pop culture phenomenon, boosting NFL ratings and sparking global headlines. In June 2025, they made their red-carpet debut together.
