Reason why English has only just become the official language of the USA after 250 years

President Donald Trump has been using his power to sign numerous executive orders since returning to the Oval Office. These orders range from banning trans athletes in women’s sports to implementing tariffs on China and creating a migrant detention center at Guantánamo Bay. Some of his more unconventional proposals include plans for an ‘Iron Dome’ over America and renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

Trump is expected to sign an executive order making English the official language of the USA. The White House justifies this move by emphasizing that English is the most widely spoken language and that it will promote unity, efficiency in government, and civic engagement.
