She seemed perfect. When he brought her home for the first time, I felt something strange, an unease I couldn’t explain.

Clara was pretty, sociable, polite… but despite everything, something about her bothered me. After their marriage, my son became more and more distant. He rarely called me, and only came to see us during the holidays, sometimes even without Clara.
