Legendary actor found dead today in his California home

Renowned for his roles in The Bodyguard, Night at the Museum, and New Jack City, the actor has departed from the film industry.

Bill’s brother, Thomas G. Cobbs, a pastor, shared the unfortunate news on Facebook, stating, “Bill died peacefully at his home in California on June 25.”

Recently, Bill celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by cherished family members. He was a dedicated partner, elder brother, uncle, surrogate parent, godfather, and friend. We find solace in the belief that Bill has attained peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father.

“We request your prayers and support during this difficult time.”

As reported by TMZ, the cause of Bill’s passing remains unclear.

Earlier this month, Bill’s niece, Bethany Cobbs, posted a heartwarming photograph of him with his family to commemorate his birthday.

With a smile gracing his face, the star was seated in a cozy brown chair.

Everything he accomplished was for his loved ones! Fans expressed their condolences to the actor’s family on X, formerly known as Twitter. One user remarked, “Never knew his name, he was in EVERYTHING, RIP.”

Another commented, “Mr. Bill Cobbs was a gentleman, an absolute legend, and a man of great talent. TV, movies, and the stage will never be the same without him. May he rest in peace and power forever.”
