In the peaceful town of Pinneberg, located in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, a tragedy unfolded that has left a family broken and a community in deep mourning. On what seemed like a normal Monday night, a fire tore through a family home and claimed the life of nine-year-old Sofia — a joyful, loving, and energetic child whose life ended far too soon. A Fire That Became a Deadly Trap.  The fire broke out late in the evening, around 11:00 PM, in the attic of a two-family house. Sofia and her 14-year-old brother had their bedrooms in the attic, just above where their parents slept on the lower floor.
