Tehuacán Highway, Puebla – Oaxaca , according to state authorities.
The Oaxaca State Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management reported that the accident occurred on Wednesday, May 14, specifically at kilometer 28 of the aforementioned highway.
According to the authorities’ report, witnesses reported that the accident resulted from a rear-end collision between three vehicles : a direct-service bus, a tanker truck, and a pickup truck. The incident left several people injured and several fatalities .
Due to these events, the Federal Roads and Bridges of Revenue and Related Services (CAPUFE) kept the road closed , preventing traffic in both directions.
