The *Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta* family is mourning the passing of Khadiyah “KD” Lewis, who died on May 30 at the age of 44, as confirmed by her brother Jamaal “Jay” Lewis. The cause of her death has not been made public.
Her younger brother, Elijah Inegbedion, paid tribute to her on Facebook, expressing his heartbreak and describing the love and support she always gave him.
He thanked her for the legacy she left behind and said he was forever grateful to be her little brother. KD became known through seasons 3 and 4 of *Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta*, where she appeared as rapper Yung Joc’s real estate agent and assistant before becoming his girlfriend. Her time on the show was marked by confidence and drama, which made her stand out.
Beyond reality TV, Khadiyah was a well-educated and successful entrepreneur. She earned degrees from Florida A\&M University and Georgia State University and built a career in tax consulting and real estate. She owned several businesses, including a real estate investment firm, a financial services company, and a consulting agency.
Although she lived in Atlanta, she stayed connected to her hometown in Oklahoma. In recent years, she stepped away from the spotlight, with her last social media activity in 2018 and her business website going offline. *Love & Hip Hop* is a reality TV franchise that showcases the lives of people in the hip hop industry—rappers, producers, managers, and their families—as they deal with careers, relationships, and personal challenges. Since its debut in 2011 with the New York version, it has expanded to include Atlanta, Hollywood, and Miami. Khadiyah Lewis left a strong impression during her time on the show, and her death is a significant loss to those who knew her both personally and through television.
