A Video Of Don Felder Experiencing A Medical Emergency During His Concert Earlier This Week Went Viral

A video of Don Felder experiencing a medical emergency during his concert earlier this week went viral, sending fans into a frenzy.

On Thursday night (February 13), the former Eagles guitarist was prepared to deliver a performance that his fans would never forget.

When Felder suffered a medical problem on stage during a Rock Legends Cruise concert, he had just finished telling the backstory of the song Tequila Sunrise.

To the pleasure of the audience, the guitarist started playing the song in a video that has gone viral on YouTube before beginning to sway back and forth. After then, he paused his performance and tried to approach the microphone before a woman from backstage arrived to get him.

Following one fan’s yell of affection for the musician, supporters cheered and voiced their concerns as she and a group of others pushed the rock star off the stage.

Social media was also used by his supporters to send him well wishes.

One YouTube user said, “I hope he heals up real quick. Tip of the hat to the considerate crowd !!”

Another added, “That’s hard to watch. Hope he’s okay. One of my fondest memories of the Eagles was that live video of Don and Walsh trading licks back and forth at the end of Hotel California.”

A third commented, “I just hate that for him. I met him once backstage. Such a great guy and talented musician! Praying it was only dehydration and he’s all well soon. Love you Don!”

A concerned fan also added: “This kind of stuff makes me squirm in my seat… It really freaks me out. Like literally trying to hold on for dear life, even though it’s not happening to me. But luckily he had assistance right away. I mean, it looks like the woman caught his signal immediately.”

Felder was just dehydrated, according to a health update posted on his Instagram page by his squad.

The statement read, “We appreciate everyone’s concern regarding Don Felder’s abrupt stop to his show last night on the Rock Legends Cruise.”

“After receiving medical attention, he was deemed to be suffering from dehydration. He was given fluids and is feeling much better.”

“To ensure he has ample time to rehydrate and recover fully, we are working on rescheduling today’s show and adjusting the remainder of the cruise schedule accordingly.”

“Thank you for your understanding, and remember – drink your water!”
