The news of Ryan Whyte Maloney’s death has been confirmed by The Clark County Coroner in Las Vegas. The singer had had a long-standing musical career which he began when he was just a child.

He grew up playing guitar, violin, cello, and drums in Michigan. In 2005, he recorded an album as the frontman of ‘Indulge,’ a progressive rock group. He performed his music around the country. But his career really took off in 2014 when he appeared on the hit reality show The Voice, where he sang a rendition of the popular song ‘Lights’ by Journey.

The singer’s voice was unanimously loved by the judges, all four of whom turned their chairs to show support for him. Maloney had the choice to join any of the four judges and ended up choosing Blake Shelton.

Ryan Whyte Maloney made it through two battle rounds and was one of Blake Shelton’s top five finalists before he returned to perform at the finale of the show.

People are devastated over Maloney’s death being confirmed by The Clark County Coroner, who has confirmed that Maloney died by suicide.

Las Vegas country music radio station 107.9 Coyote Country posted on X a message, “The Coyote Country family is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Ryan Whyte Maloney.

“If you loved country music in Las Vegas, you knew Ryan’s unforgettable voice and songs. Thank you for the beautiful music that will live on in our hearts forever. #RyanWhyteMaloney,” they wrote.

Ryan Whyte Maloney continued his musical career even after his appearance on The Voice. He worked as a songwriter for other artists, as well as a musician, engineer, and music producer. He has shared stages with the likes of Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen, Shakira, Usher, and Ed Sheeran. He also had an ongoing residency at Blake Shelton’s venue Ole Red.

Some of his more recent musical released included ‘Don’t Put Me in a Box’, and ‘Love with Nowhere to Go’.
Just a day before he died, Maloney shared a video on his Instagram story in which he showed off a rock gesture with his hand and said, “Nine fine Irishmen for a private party tonight, and we will be rocking.”

The death of Ryan Whyte Maloney has been incredibly saddening. We send his friends and family our condolences in this trying time.
