A husband and wife were dining at restaurant

1. A couple was dining at a luxurious 5-star restaurant. When their meal arrived, the husband eagerly said, “Our food is here! Let’s dig in!” His wife gently reminded him, “Darling, you always say your prayers before eating at home.” The husband replied with a grin, “That’s at home, my dear. Here, the chef knows what they’re doing.”

2. In New Orleans, a man walked into the produce section of a local supermarket and asked to buy half a head of cabbage. The young employee told him they only sold whole heads. The man insisted the employee check with the manager. As the boy walked to the back, he muttered to the manager, “Some old guy out there wants to buy half a head of cabbage.” Turning around, he realized the man had followed him and was standing right behind. Thinking quickly, the boy added, “…and this gentleman kindly offered to buy the other half.” The manager approved, and the man left satisfied. Later, the manager complimented the boy on his quick thinking and asked where he was from. “Canada, sir,” the boy replied. “Why did you leave Canada?” the manager asked. The boy joked, “Sir, there’s nothing but pr*stitutes and ice hockey players there.” The manager, taken aback, said, “Is that so? My wife is from Canada!” The boy, without missing a beat, replied, “Really? Who did she play for?”

3. At a family gathering, a young boy asked his grandfather why he always carried a red handkerchief in his back pocket. The grandfather chuckled and replied, “Well, it’s a family tradition. You see, back in the day, when I was just a boy, my grandfather told me that carrying a red handkerchief would bring good luck.” The young boy looked puzzled and asked, “But Grandpa, have you ever actually had any good luck because of it?” The grandfather smiled and said, “Well, I’ve never lost my handkerchief!”

4. During a flight, a nervous passenger asked the flight attendant, “Are we going to crash?” The flight attendant calmly responded, “No need to worry, sir. We have the best pilots in the world.” The passenger seemed relieved until he asked, “But what if the best pilots in the world were on the Titanic?” The flight attendant paused for a moment before replying, “Well, sir, in that case, you’d have a point.”

5. A young woman went to the doctor for a check-up and expressed her concerns about memory loss. The doctor reassured her, “It’s perfectly normal to forget things as you get older.” The woman sighed and said, “But doctor, I keep forgetting to forget things!” The doctor couldn’t help but chuckle at her witty remark.

6. At a job interview, a nervous candidate was asked why they thought they were the best fit for the position. Without missing a beat, the candidate replied, “Well, I may not be the best fit, but I am definitely the best-dressed!” The interviewer couldn’t help but laugh at the candidate’s confidence.
